Description
Our client in California is seeking a dedicated Anesthetist for a 25-day assignment starting Jul 11, 2026. This role involves 10-hour shifts every Saturday, focusing exclusively on elective cases. The Anesthetist will be responsible for a variety of surgical services including General Surgery, Vascular, GYN, Orthopedics, Urology, Head and Neck, Ophthalmology, Robotic, and Thoracic procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide anesthesia exclusively for elective cases.
- Manage anesthesia for General Surgery, Vascular, GYN, and Orthopedics (Spinal Anesthesia).
- Handle Urology, Head and Neck (including Pediatrics >1y.o. ASA 1 and 2), and Ophthalmology (Retinal, Cataract, and Oculoplastics) cases.
- Administer anesthesia for Robotic procedures across General Surgery, GYN, Urology, and Thoracic.
- Perform anesthesia for Thoracic cases requiring Double Lumen ETT.
- Note: No cardiac, neuro, heart, or trauma cases involved.
