    • Looking for ABEM or ABFM w/ 2+ years of experience 
      
  • Coverage Needs:
        
    • Need ASAP - Ongoing for 6+ months  
    • Must be able to cover 5+ shifts per month
      
  • Shifts: 
        
    • Mon-Wed: 7a-5p, 10a-8p, 3p-1a, 4p-12a, and 8p-7a  
    • Thurs - Sun: 7a-5p, 10a-9p, 4p-2a, and 8p-7a
      
  • Setting: 
        
    • Full-service acute-care regional hospital  
    • Handles general trauma and stabilization  
    • Severe trauma sent to Rapides
      
  • Census:
        
    • 42 ED beds  
    • 49.5k annual volume  
    • Average 135 ED patients per day   
    • 30% EMS  
    • 22% ADMITTED PATIENTS
      
  • Support Staff: 
        
    • NPPA coverage 46 hrs Mon-Fri & 36 hrs Sat-Sun  
    • Scribe coverage 10 hrs/day   
    • Most specialties on site for backup
      
  • Procedures: 
        
    • All Standard ER procedures 
      
  • EMR: 
        
    • EPIC 
      
  • Board Certification: 
        
    • Board Certified Required 
      
  • Travel: 
        
    • Hospital will cover
      
  • Credentialing timeline:
        
    • Will take 90 days 
      
  • Requirements:
        
    • Active LA state license  
    • Active DEA and CDS in LA or willing to transfer   
    • ATLS, ACLS
