A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Corsicana, Texas.
This position requires CRNAs to work autonomously, handling their own cases and pre-ops without physician supervision. The case mix includes general surgery, GI, eye procedures, OB/GYN, some ENT, and pediatric dental, with no trauma or high-risk OB. The facility uses Anescan EMR on a tablet. Candidates must have experience and be able to work independently; new graduates are not typically accepted. Call is shared among the team, and the average work week is around 30 hours, depending on call responsibilities. The facility runs five operating rooms daily but can manage with four on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
