A hospital system is seeking a Board Certified Neurologist for locum tenens inpatient coverage due to an unexpected provider departure.

$3200 for 24 hours and $400 an hour call back. Orientation $275 an hour. Holiday 1.5X regular rate

Inpatient coverage

Clinical Responsibilities
Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial)
Thrombolytic therapy
EEG
EMG
Brain death exams

Patient Volume
10–20+ patients per day

Practice Environment
2 physicians in group
3 advanced practice providers
Other neurologists present during assignment
On-site:
Lab
X-ray
EMR:Epic

Credentialing
ASAP (expedited for clean file)

Travel
Lodging: approximately $150/night
All other travel at standard/economy rates

Requirements

Board Certified – required
Active Ohio license or IMLC – required
ACLS – required
Clean file required for temporary privileges
Must be available for listed dates – required
Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days) – required at presentation
