SUMO Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Primary Care physician (MD/DO) for a locum tenens opportunity in Chesapeake, Virginia. This role offers weekday clinic coverage, a focused patient mix, and expedited credentialing.Position Details -
Start: Anticipated May 28, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00a–5:30p
Possible Additional Hours: Saturdays, 9:00a–2:00p
Practice Model: Solo primary care | No Home Med Patient Population-
Acute urgent visits: ages 2+
School/camp physicals: ages 5+
All other primary care: ages 12+
Orientation: 2–4-hour shadow/orientation prior to or on first shift Requirements -
Active, unrestricted Virginia medical license (IMLC considered, pending acceptable)
Board Certified
AHA certifications
CV in MM/YYYY format with all 30+ day gaps explained Benefits-
