A hospital is seeking a Board Certified Otolaryngologist (ENT) for locum tenens coverage supporting trauma, surgical, and clinic services.$325/hr regular hours

Typical coverage:
Saturday start through the following Tuesday (10 consecutive days)
Alternative schedule may include Friday start through Monday
Weekday schedule:
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM: Clinic and hospital rounding
4:30 PM – 8:00 AM: Call
Weekend schedule:
24-hour call coverage Clinical Responsibilities
Outpatient clinic (approx. 20 patients per day)
Inpatient rounding and consults
Surgical cases
Trauma call coverage Patient Volume
~20 outpatient visits per day
~3 consults per day
Weekend consults: 2–4 Procedures / Case Mix
Routine ENT procedures including:
Endoscopic sinus surgery
Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy
Myringotomy with tubes (BMT)
Thyroidectomy
Microlaryngoscopy with biopsy
Tracheostomy
Trauma and facial procedures including:
Facial plating
Soft tissue repair
Mandible arch bars
Additional responsibilities include airway management and tracheotomy Practice Environment
Provider may work solo
Support staff includes APP support in clinic
Hospital setting:
Level III trauma center
~400-bed hospital (300 beds in use)
Patient mix:
70% adult / 30% pediatric
EMR: Epic Credentialing
Estimated timeframe: ~90 days Travel

Board Certified – required
Pennsylvania license – required (IMLC accepted)
Minimum 5 years of experience – required
ACLS and BLS – required
DEA – required
Must be able to perform tracheotomy – required
Experience with oral maxillofacial and facial trauma procedures – required
