Position Highlights: 

• Serve as the Chief of Health Services for Illinois Department of Corrections
• Full-line supervision of senior clinical and administrative leaders
• Liaison for external relations
• Ensure compliance with NCCHC, ACA, state and federal mandates
• Conduct facility visits, evaluate credentialing, clinical performance 
• 100% Administrative role, no clinical responsibility 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation: $239,268-$345,084
• Benefits Package: Health, Dental, Vision

Qualifications: 

• Licensed MD or DO, ability to obtain Illinois medical license 
• Senior-level healthcare executive with 4-7+ years of medical administrative leadership  
• Experience in complex healthcare systems - preferably in correctional, government, public health, or safety-net environments
• Proven experience with healthcare regulatory compliance, accreditation, and legal oversight environments
