Position Highlights: 

•  Reasonable and balanced distribution of responsibilities: 65% administrative, 30% clinical, 5% teaching

• Direct collaboration with experienced faculty, residency program leadership, and health system laboratory leadership.
• Lead and modernize Clinical Pathology operations across UC Health.
• Oversee quality initiatives, CAP/CLIA compliance, and test utilization improvements in the first 6–12 months.

• Base Salary based upon academic rank + value-based incentives + wRVU variable pay

Qualifications: 

• MD or DO or equivalent required 
• Board Certification in Clinical Pathology (CP) or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
• Eligibility for Ohio medical licensure
• Strategic, solutions-oriented leader with strong communication and team-building skills
• Minimum of 5+ years of working experience in clinical pathology
• Proven leadership experience within academic, hospital-based, or reference lab settings
• Success in faculty mentoring, interdisciplinary collaboration, and lab management.
