Description NP Needed to Work in collaboration with nurses, surgeons and anesthesiologists! Day to day duties include: - Evaluating between 7 and 14 preoperative patients per day, face-to-face in our preoperative clinic. Patients range in complexity and age, from pediatric to geriatric. - Order preoperative testing based on guidelines developed with anesthesiology - Interpret testing and report abnormal results to surgeons and anesthesiologists as appropriate. - Coordinate cardiac, pulmonary and medical clearances for complex patients. - Educate patients regarding pre and post-operative instructions and medications. - Compose preoperative History and Physical documentation to include all body systems. - Types of cases include: Gastroenterology, ENT, Urology, Pain Management, Podiatry, and General Surgery. -Must be comfy with all ages -18 week Contract/40 hours Guaranteed/ day shift- 8am/ typical 10 hour shifts -BLS/ACLS/PALS -California License Required - Level 4 Trauma Level EEO/Veteran/Disabled/E-Verify Employer Interested applicants, please contact Dana Hosier at (xxxxxxxxxxx* ext. 2380 or at xxxxxxxxxxx*! * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
