A Level I trauma center is seeking a Vascular Surgeon for locum tenens coverage to support a growing surgical team.24 hour call - $3500/24 hour call with 4 hour gratis
Night call - $1000/night
Call-back $500/hr after gratis
Regular hours $500/hr Position Details

Schedule
Monday – Friday clinic: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call requirements include:
Night call (not every night)
Some 24-hour weekend call coverage
Estimated ~10 shifts per month Clinical Responsibilities
Outpatient clinic coverage
Inpatient rounding
Perform open and endovascular vascular procedures Patient Volume
Average 5–10 patients per day
Approximately 6 outpatient elective procedures Practice Environment
Level I Trauma Center
Support includes:
1 APP and nursing staff in clinic
2 APPs assisting with rounding
Provider will not work solo
EMR: Epic Credentialing
Estimated timeframe: ~60 days
Temporary privileges available Travel
Airfare (standard economy, no upgrades)
Lodging: up to $150/night
Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
Rental car available Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible – required
Illinois license – required (IMLC not accepted)
DEA – required
ACLS and BLS – required
Minimum 1 year of experience – required
