A hospital in Springfield, OH is seeking an experienced Cardiac Surgical Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage supporting cardiothoracic and vascular surgery services.Regular: $180/hr, Weekend: $1200/day, $500 night call page fee, OT/Call-back $230/hr Position Details

Adult and geriatric Clinical Responsibilities
Write prescriptions
Coordinate care
Rounding
Interpret tests
Order tests
Vein harvesting
Assist in surgery – not required
Retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduit – not required Practice Environment
Reports to cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons
Surgical NP candidates will be considered
EMR: Epic Credentialing
Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days
Temporary privileges possible in ~45 days Requirements
Board Certified (ANCC or AANP) – required
Ohio license – preferred (must be obtainable quickly if not active)
ACLS – required
COVID vaccination – required
Cardiothoracic surgery experience – preferred (critical care experience considered; no new grads)
Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days) – required at presentation
