SMART is searching for Emergency Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Portsmouth, Virginia.  Ideal candidates must be ABEM/AOBEM.



  • Locums Rate: $260/hour – plus paid travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance with tail

  • Annual Volume: 45,000

  • Coverage Model: 7a-7p, 11a-7p, 7p-7a

  • Beds: 29 Bed ED

  • EMR: EPIC

  • Credentialing: 60-90 days
