Join Our Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – General Surgery

We are seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with general surgery experience to provide critical locum coverage from June 1st to August 31st, 2026. Required Skills:
- Valid California Medical License and CA DEA registration
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in your specialty, with 2-5 years of experience post-residency
- Proven general surgery experience for PAs (PA-C credential); NPs must have ACNP certification and be nationally certified
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to commit to at least two weeks on, two weeks off schedule or more
- Willingness to work 10-hour shifts (8am-6pm) with guaranteed 8 hours per day
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior hospital privileging experience in general surgery
- Familiarity with the specific hospital and surgical procedures
- Flexibility to assist with additional coverage needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
- PA with at least 2 years of general surgery practice
- NP with ACNP certification and recent surgical experience
- Experience with surgical case logs and hospital-based clinical activity
Other Requirements:
- Active California license and DEA registration
- Updated CV with all hospital affiliations
- Current hospital privileging with at least 2 years of clinical activity in the specialty
- Willingness to adhere to privileging requirements, including case logs and employment gaps explanation
- Must be able to provide an updated privileging packet as required
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
- Weekly pay via direct deposit

Additional Travel & Reimbursement Details:
- Reimbursed: airport parking, pre-approved rental car insurance, travel from airport to lodging/hospital
