Overview:
A hospital-based opportunity is available for an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage in a community hospital setting. This role involves managing a broad range of emergency cases across all age groups in a collaborative environment.

$300/hr

Assignment Details:
Start: July 2026
Ongoing, full-time coverage needed

Schedule:
24-hour in-house shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
PRN scheduling available
No call required

Practice Details:
Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Department
EMR: Epic
Community hospital environment
Support from physicians, APPs, nurses, and technicians
Access to CT and imaging services

Patient Volume:
Approximately 25–30 patients per day

Patient Population:
All ages

Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat emergency department patients
Manage a wide variety of acute conditions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
Provide timely and effective emergency care

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine – Required
Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC – Required
DEA – Required
Minimum 1 year of experience – Required
ABEM certification – Preferred

Credentialing:
Estimated timeframe: ~90 days (temporary privileges available with clean file)
