Schedule & Location

Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Status: Full-Time, Benefits Eligible

What You’ll Do

As a Pathologists’ Assistant, you will play a critical role in surgical pathology services and patient diagnosis.

  • Prepare, grossly describe, and dissect human surgical tissue specimens

  • Ensure accuracy and quality throughout the specimen examination process

  • Recognize issues that require corrective action and implement solutions

  • Work safely in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards

  • Champion laboratory safety, regulatory compliance, and quality control standards

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program

  • At least 1 year of laboratory experience grossing a variety of tissue types from simple to complex

  • ASCP Board of Certification (BOC) certification as a Pathologists’ Assistant
