Join Our Esteemed Anesthesia Team as a Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Detroit, MI


Are you a skilled CRNA seeking a rewarding temporary opportunity in a renowned Level 1 trauma center? We are looking for an experienced Locum CRNA to provide expert anesthesia care at Henry Ford Hospital, a leader in healthcare innovation. This pivotal role offers flexible day shifts, a dynamic surgical environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.


Required Skills:


  • Current NBCRNA certification

  • Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

  • Active and full medical license in Michigan

  • Proven experience managing adult patients in surgical settings

  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques including general, neurosurgical, and deep sedation/MAC

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

  • Excellent assessment, monitoring, and emergency response skills

  • Proficient documentation skills in Epic EMR



Nice to Have Skills:


  • Experience with pediatric anesthesia management

  • Familiarity with regional anesthesia techniques

  • Prior experience in Level 1 trauma centers

  • Advanced airway and ventilation management expertise



Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice post-licensure

  • Relevant certifications demonstrating specialty skills



Other Requirements:


  • Availability for day shifts only (8, 10, or 12 hours)

  • No on-call or weekend assignments

  • Willingness to complete credentialing within 90-120 days

  • No travel, lodging, or rental car expenses covered; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
