We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Physician to deliver exceptional inpatient and outpatient oncology services, lead a multidisciplinary team, and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Required Skills:


  • Proven experience and comfort in inpatient malignant medical oncology and hematology consultations

  • Strong clinical knowledge in medical oncology and hematology

  • Ability to manage a high patient volume of 20-25 patients per day

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills

  • Proficiency in procedures related to malignant and benign oncology cases

  • Competence to supervise advanced practice providers and lead a multidisciplinary team



Nice to Have Skills:


  • Prior experience in hospital-based oncology practice

  • Familiarity with hospital privileges at United Hospital, Abbott Northwestern, and Mercy Hospital

  • Experience with outpatient and inpatient documentation within same-day timelines

  • Ability to participate in coverage for outpatient services if needed



Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Board Certification in Oncology and Hematology

  • Valid Minnesota Medical License or In-Transit Medical License Certification (IMLC)

  • Minimum of 3 years of oncology practice experience, with inpatient and consult scope



Other Requirements:


  • Credentialing within approximately 90 days

  • Willingness to work Monday through Friday, plus overnight on-call from home

  • Availability to start as soon as possible

  • Flexibility to support special procedures and hospital privileges

  • Ability to adapt to various hospital settings and collaborate seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team

  • Travel/License reimbursements applicable when necessary



Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $463.13
