Responsibilities

Perform the full spectrum of Interventional Radiology procedures including vascular access, image-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, embolization, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis, and nephrostomy/biliary interventions
Provide consultations to referring physicians on appropriate IR indications; manage post-procedure follow-up and complication care
Review consults, orders, and next-day cases daily (minimum two hours)
Participate in monthly PI/QA meetings, Tumor Board, and IR Lecture Series
Conduct peer reviews (approximately two hours per month) and contribute to patient safety reporting
Document all care accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic health record system
Provide on-call availability for phone consultations and call-back coverage as needed
Qualifications

Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) — Interventional Radiology
Current, full, and unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state, territory, or commonwealth)
Current DEA certificate
ACLS and BLS certification (renewed every two years)
Proficiency across a broad range of IR procedures
Strong communication skills; fluent in English (spoken and written)
Team-oriented with a commitment to high-quality patient care
Schedule

Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM CT
On-call coverage required evenings, weekends, and holidays
Weekend call: Friday 4:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
Phone response within 15 minutes; on-site call-back within 60 minutes
