Description JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Trauma Surgery NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Flagstaff, AZ • Service Setting: Hospital • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Coverage Period: June 8, 2026 – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: Night shifts (5p – 7a) • On-Call Shift Schedule: Included • Call Type: In-House COVERAGE DATES • June 8 – June 18 (Initial coverage; potential for additional shifts) PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume/Census: 10–15 patients per day • Admissions: Yes • Rounding: Included • Phone Consults: TBD • Case Mix: Trauma ICU and general trauma cases FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 269 beds • Trauma Level: Level I • EMR System: Cerner • Office Equipment Available: Standard trauma and surgical equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Trauma surgeons (dual boarded critical care) • Support Staff Available: Inpatient trauma team PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: TBD • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Trauma patient management • Critical care support • Surgical assist duties JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active AZ license required • Board: Board Certified NP or PA • DEA: Required • Certifications: ATLS required • Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma or acute care experience required • Other Qualifications: Acute Care APP experience required ?
