Description
Oncology Healthcare Provider
Join our dynamic and vital oncology practice dedicated to making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. We are seeking a skilled Oncology specialist to provide exceptional care within a collaborative environment that values expertise and compassion. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and pharmacists, to deliver comprehensive oncology services.
Required Skills:
- Board certification in Oncology or Hematology, or eligibility for certification
- Minimum of 3 weeks per month availability, ideally seeking a full-time provider
- Strong clinical knowledge of oncology and hematology practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Prior experience in a hospital-based oncology setting
- Familiarity with chemotherapy administration and management
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or other relevant credentials
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- At least 3 years of oncology or hematology practice experience
- Proven ability to manage a diverse patient caseload effectively
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour unpaid lunch
- Willingness to provide hospital consultations; overall care managed by hospitalists
- Orientation period not exceeding 80% of hourly pay
- Commitment of at least 6 months or longer preferred
- Travel and licensing reimbursements as applicable
