Join a premier laboratory team in the heart of the Queen City! We are seeking a dedicated, ASCP-certified Pathologists’ Assistant to contribute to a high-volume, state-of-the-art facility. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys the clinical complexity of advanced surgical specimens.

Your Role & Impact
Working alongside a talented group of PAs and Gross Technicians, you will ensure the highest standard of diagnostic service. Key responsibilities include:

Precision Grossing: Perform detailed gross descriptions and dissections of varied surgical specimens.
Clinical Support: Assist with autopsy prosections and provide critical frozen section services.
Advanced Imaging: Utilize digital slide scanning, radiography, and specimen photography to document cases.
Direct Collaboration: Partner daily with Pathologists and Surgeons to navigate complex cases and frozen sections.

The Qualifications

Education: Graduate of a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program.
Certification: Active PA (ASCP) certification is required.
Experience: 1+ years of experience managing complex specimens in a high-throughput lab setting.
Compliance: Ability to successfully pass standard pre-employment background and drug screenings.
