Overview:
A hospital-based opportunity is available for an Anesthesiologist to provide coverage for a wide range of surgical cases. This role involves independent practice in a collaborative environment across multiple specialties.

Compensation:

Regular - $425/hr
Orientation $220/hr
Night call $1400 with 2.5h gratis
On Call Daily $3800 with 4 hour gratis
Call-back - $440/hr after gratis

Ongoing coverage

Schedule:

Weekly coverage:
Friday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Combination of weekend call and clinical coverage

Practice Details:

Setting: Hospital
EMR: Epic
High surgical volume facility
Support from anesthesia team including CRNAs and anesthesia techs

Case Mix:

Orthopedics
Labor & Delivery
Spine
Gastroenterology
Gynecology
Urology
Cath Lab
Interventional Radiology
Bariatric procedures
Minimal vascular cases

Responsibilities:

Provide general anesthesia for surgical procedures
Manage perioperative patient care
Participate in call coverage
Work independently while collaborating with care teams

Requirements:

Board Certified Anesthesiologist – Required
Active Nebraska License – Preferred
IMLC or willingness to obtain Nebraska license – Accepted
BLS and DEA – Required
Clean malpractice/background – Preferred
NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) – Required
Availability confirmed at time of submission – Required
