We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Orthopedics for a locum tenens assignment. This exciting opportunity near Jefferson, Oregon, offers a chance to contribute to both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting the orthopedic team with a combination of clinical hours and on-call duties.

Position Overview:

• Location: Near Jefferson, Oregon


• Role Type: Locum Tenens (with potential for permanent placement)


• Specialty: Orthopedics (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)


• Start Date: Expected to begin in December 2024, pending credentialing


• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with a mix of surgical and clinic responsibilities


• Call Requirements: Approximately 8-9 call shifts per month from 5 pm to 7 pm, covering clinic calls only

• Support Team: Access to 4 Medical Assistants and a robust support team

Requirements:

• Oregon License is required at the time of application due to the urgent need for coverage.


• BLS Certification required; additional certification may be an advantage.


• Experience in Orthopedics is preferred, particularly with both clinical and surgical duties.


• Candidates should ideally have a clean credentialing file to facilitate an expedited start.

Additional Information:

• Credentialing: Estimated to take up to 90 days; candidates available to start in December are preferred.


• Housing: May be arranged upon request, subject to prior approval.
