We are seeking an Otolaryngologist to provide facial trauma and ENT call coverage in South Carolina. This is a call-only assignment with no outpatient or clinic responsibilities.

Overview:

• Call Schedule: 8a–8a (unless otherwise noted)


• Call Type: Hotel call (not in-house) after daily responsibilities are complete


• Facility: 500+ bed Level II Trauma Center


• Covering all ENT and facial trauma cases presenting to the ED


• Performing surgical procedures as needed


• Rounding on post-operative and inpatient cases


• Providing consults


• Must be comfortable managing facial trauma, including:
  
  
  
  • Mandible fractures
  
  
  • Orbital floor fractures
  
  
  • Eyelid lacerations
  
  
  
  


• Approx. 5–6 consults per day (can be higher on weekends)

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology


• Active South Carolina Medical License


• CSR (Controlled Substance Registration)


• DEA (must be eligible for permanent SC registration)


• Comfortable working independently in a high-volume trauma setting
