Overview:
A hospital-based opportunity is available for an Anesthesiologist to provide overnight anesthesia coverage across a broad range of surgical specialties. This role includes supervision of CRNAs and requires experience with regional anesthesia and OB coverage.

Compensation:

$400/hr

Assignment Details:

Start: June 8, 2026
Ongoing coverage
Multiple providers needed

Schedule:

4 overnight shifts per week
3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
No call required outside scheduled shifts

Practice Details:

Setting: Hospital
EMR: Epic
Medically directed model (1:3 CRNA ratio)
Adult and pediatric patient population
Broad surgical case mix

Case Mix:

Orthopedics (high volume)
OB/GYN
Vascular
GI
Pediatrics
Plastics
Robotics
Urology
General surgery

Responsibilities:

Provide anesthesia care for surgical procedures
Supervise CRNAs in a care team model
Perform regional/nerve block anesthesia
Provide OB anesthesia coverage
Utilize spinal, MAC, and ultrasound-guided techniques
Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist – Required
Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC LOQ – Accepted
ACLS and PALS – Required
Night shift availability – Required
Regional block/nerve block experience – Required
OB anesthesia experience – Required
Minimum 2 years experience – Preferred

Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: ~90 days
