What You’ll Bring:


  • Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU experience ensuring confident and competent bedside care

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications

  • Epic EMR experience for efficient documentation and patient management

  • Ability to float to various units within OSU and adapt to changing patient needs

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

  • Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays



Bonus Skills:


  • Additional certifications or specialties related to critical or acute care

  • Experience working in a travel or temporary staffing environment

  • Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures at OSU or similar institutions



Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Valid RN license in the state of employment

  • At least 2 years of proven PCU experience in a fast-paced hospital setting



Other Requirements:


  • Ability to float as needed within the organization

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

  • Willingness to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

  • Travel and housing reimbursements may apply; other incentives included
