Requirements:

Specialty: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Education: MD/DO

State License: California

Experience: Home health experience is preferred

Patient Population: Hospice, mostly older adults

Details of the Opportunity:

The first step toward receiving home health care is to obtain a physician's orders and work with a home health care company to develop a detailed care plan.

The physician will provide a complete initial consultation with the patient, during which they assess the patient's needs and develop a plan for treatment.

Once the patient has been referred, the home health care staff will implement the plan, following all physician orders and keeping the physician updated about the patient's progress.

Schedule:

This need currently is approximately 8 hours per month and can be scheduled around the provider’s current workload.

Hourly/Salary:

$120 per hour - Telehealth. Malpractice is covered through our agency.
