RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform initial and ongoing clinical evaluations
Refer all patients with conditions in need of consultation to medical, non-psychiatric specialties
Responsible for medication management and treatment planning
Perform crisis intervention by telephone for patients during non-office hours as assigned
Manage care coordination with all other appropriate care providers
Enter data directly into the Center’s electronic medical records system
Work with children/adolescents and adults

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

MD PsyChiatrist or Master's Degree: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
New York State Licensure
3+ years of clinical experience
Demonstrable experience in diagnosis
Excellent interpersonal skills
