Join Our Team as a Part-Time Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) – Toledo, OH
Are you a compassionate clinician seeking a flexible, part-time opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives? We are looking for dedicated Respiratory Therapists or Registered Nurses to provide home healthcare services in the Toledo, Ohio area. This role offers excellent work-life balance, minimal on-call responsibilities, and the chance to work independently in a rewarding environment.
Position Highlights:
- Location: Toledo, Ohio (must reside within 50 miles)
- Schedule: Part-Time averaging 8–10 hours/week, typically 1–2 days/week, Monday–Friday — enjoy excellent schedule flexibility!
- Coverage Area: To starting within Toledo and surrounding areas, possibly extending as far as Sandusky
- Compensation: $36.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on experience
- Additional Incentives:
- $4,000 sign-on bonus ($2,000 at 60 days and $2,000 at 180 days)
- Mileage reimbursement for using a personal vehicle
- Bonus opportunities for performance and commitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home assessments to evaluate patient safety and respiratory needs
- Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory equipment use and prescribed therapy
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot oxygen therapy and ventilators as ordered by physicians
- Respond promptly to ventilator equipment issues, providing necessary support
- Conduct follow-up calls to monitor patient progress and address concerns
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient interactions in compliance with policies and standards
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Ohio licensure/certification in one of the following:
- Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reside within 50 miles of Toledo, OH
- Strong patient communication and education skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in home healthcare or respiratory equipment
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a relevant setting
- Educational background in respiratory therapy, nursing, or related fields
Technical & Physical Requirements:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation tools
- Ability to use standard office and communication equipment
- Capability to lift and transport equipment safely
- Willingness to drive frequently and visit patients in their homes
- Ability to stand, walk, sit for prolonged periods, and perform physical tasks
- Ability to comply with health and safety protocols, including N95 fit testing if required
