Join Our Team as a PRN Respiratory Therapist or RN – Show Low, AZ

We are hiring PRN (Per Diem / As Needed) Respiratory Therapists and Registered Nurses to provide in-home care across Northern Arizona. Position Overview
- Location: Show Low, AZ; covering Northern Arizona’s expansive rural territory (~15,000 sq miles)
- Type: PRN / Per Diem (Approximately 20 hours per week; typically 3 days, with flexible scheduling)
- Compensation: Pay-per-service model ranging from $5 to $100 per completed setup/service; flat placement fee of $3,500; mileage reimbursement
- Travel: Extensive travel required—up to 3 hours one-way depending on patient locations, navigating varied terrain and weather
- On-Call: Support needed for ventilator setups and equipment exchanges, primarily for critical respiratory services
- Residency Requirement: Must live within 25 miles of Show Low, AZ
- Vehicle: Personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments in-home and clinical settings
- Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment and therapies
- Set up, troubleshoot, and manage ventilators (invasive and non-invasive), NIV, PAP, and oxygen delivery systems
- Monitor equipment performance and perform necessary adjustments
- Provide timely updates to physicians regarding patient status
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of services provided
- Navigate and travel across rural locations, often in challenging weather and terrain
Qualifications
- Active license in Arizona as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) or Registered Nurse (RN)
- High school diploma or GED (additional healthcare education preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- 1+ year of clinical experience; prior home healthcare or DME experience is highly desirable
- Experience with invasive/non-invasive ventilation systems
- Strong patient communication and education skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Physical ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 65 lbs
- Ability to spend extended periods standing, walking, and driving
- Must meet N95 fit testing standards
