What You'll Bring:
- Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience with strong proficiency in Level III neonatal care
- Epic EHR system experience
- Certified in BLS and NRP
- Proven ability to place IVs in neonates, manage ventilators and central lines, and administer a variety of medications
- Skilled in procedures such as chest tube insertion, PICC, UAC, UVC placement, and assistance with diagnostic imaging and intubation
- Compassionate, empathetic, and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to float to different units, including NOU and newborn nursery, as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with blood administration and nitric oxide therapy
- Familiarity with ultrasound, echocardiograms, EEGs, and exchange transfusions
- Bilingual abilities or additional certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least 3 years of NICU experience, particularly in a Level III setting
- Comfort in managing complex neonate cases and advanced procedures
Other Requirements:
- Weekend and holiday shifts are required; every other weekend obligation and at least one major and one minor holiday per schedule
- Self-scheduling flexibility
- Night shift 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
- Willingness to float between units as needed, including NOU and newborn nursery
- Travel or relocation reimbursements where applicable
