Location: 1 hour from Albuquerque (Inquire for specific location)
Duration: July 1 – ongoing (preference for 12 months)
Reason for coverage: vacancy
Schedule: MUST offer 3-4 weeks per month
Shift: M-F, 8am-5pm, will consider a shorter amount of days with a minimum of 3 days per week
Call: Call coverage, weekend assignments, one weekend per month
Scope: Hospital consults and outpatient clinic, adult only. Bread and butter medical oncology, with a split of benign hematology. Usually 60% hematology and 40% oncology
Volume: 5 - 18 patients per day; mainly follow-ups and typically 2-3 new patient appointments
EMR: EPIC
Hospital: 200 beds, Levell III trauma center
Group/support: 6 FT Oncologists and 6 NPs
Requirements (boards, license): Strong preference for active NM license, must be board certified in medical oncology, 3+ years of post-training experience practicing medical oncology preferred
