A respected hospital laboratory in Forest Hills, TN is seeking a full-time Pathologists' Assistant to support its surgical pathology services. This position offers a consistent 2nd shift schedule, ideal for candidates seeking a later workday while working closely with experienced pathologists and lab staff.

Location: On-site in Forest Hills, TN
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Perform gross examination and description of surgical specimens

• Assist with intraoperative consultations, including frozen sections

• Accession and prepare tissue for histological processing

• Ensure accurate specimen documentation and proper labeling

• Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, and lab safety standards

• Work closely with pathologists and histotechnologists to support diagnostic workflows
