A leading hospital-based laboratory in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Pathologists' Assistant to support a high-volume surgical pathology service. What You’ll Do:

• Perform gross dissection and description of complex surgical specimens

• Assist pathologists during frozen section procedures and intraoperative consultations

• Accession and process tissue specimens in accordance with lab protocols

• Maintain proper documentation and photographic records of specimens

• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, CAP/CLIA guidelines, and infection control standards

• Contribute to process improvement, quality assurance, and educational activities within the pathology department
