Catapult Healthcare has a client in North Carolina that needs a general surgery physician to provide coverage at their facility on a locum tenens basis. The ideal candidate will be able to offer a block of 7-10 string of shift coverage per month beginning in March of this year. Please see details below:Job Description:
•Same Day Surgery Center
•Services: Orthopedics | Cardiology | Critical Care Unit | Urology | OBGYN | Radiology
•Volume: 22,000 annual ED visits
•Average total inpatient Census/month: 3
•Average # of admissions/month: 7
•# of Surgical cases per month: 7 Primary Responsibilities:
•24-hour On Call for shift | Not required to remain on site
•No response to codes | No ER back up responsibilities |No ICU/Critical Care Duties
