This 356-bed research and academic medical center is a Level 1 Time Critical Diagnosis hospital specializing in Stroke, Trauma, and STEMI care. An intensivist is available onsite to provide support and expertise.

The night shift runs from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM and primarily involves working with the MICU service, providing cross-coverage for Cardiac Surgery ICU patients. Responsibilities include managing high-acuity, complex post-operative CTS patients, ECMO/Impella 5.5 systems, mechanical ventilation, and occasional procedures such as CVC placement, arterial lines, chest tube insertion, thoracentesis, and rare intubations. The role also involves cross-coverage of CCU patients and some MICU admissions.
