Opportunity Overview:

Seeking a Board Certified Urologist for inpatient urology call coverage in Tacoma, WA. Provider will be cross-credentialed across three local facilities. This is a high-priority, ongoing need with multiple date blocks available.

Schedule / Coverage:

24-hour call coverage
Response time: must be < 30 minutes
Start as soon as credentialed (credentialing timeline approximately 60 days)
Duration: 6+ months

Clinical Details:

General inpatient urology call coverage
Average 6–8 consults/day
Epic EMR
OR expectations: emergent cases only while on call; non-emergent cases deferred

Required Skills / Procedures:

Cystic procedures
Lithotripsy
Nephrectomy
Transurethral resection (TUR)
Prostatectomy
Pyelolithotomy

Requirements

Board Certified Urology (required)
BLS (required)
WA license highly preferred (IMLC LOQ acceptable; WA in-process considered)
Clean malpractice/background preferred
Local/drive-in strongly preferred (no flights preferred)
