Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor / Therapist (Spanish/English)
EuHealth Psychiatry and Mental Wellness is a diverse, multicultural clinic headquartered in Salem, Oregon. Our team of clinicians, comprised of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) and Licensed Counselors, is dedicated to providing our community with accessible, state-of-the-art mental health services. We offer a comprehensive suite of treatments, including medication management, professional counseling, and Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (dTMS).
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor or Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This individual will provide direct clinical services to a diverse patient population, with a specific focus on delivering care to our Spanish-speaking community members. The ideal candidate brings extensive post-licensure experience and a deep commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice within a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care: Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, formulate diagnoses based on DSM-5 criteria, and provide individual, group, and family therapy.
Bilingual Services: Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions fluently in both Spanish and English, ensuring culturally competent care for all patients.
Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans using SMART goals in collaboration with patients.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other medical staff to ensure integrated patient care and participate in regular clinical consultations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
Qualifications
Education and Licensure
Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related mental health field from an accredited program.
Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Oregon.
Experience and Skills
Experience: A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience providing direct counseling services.
Language Proficiency: Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English (oral and written) is mandatory.
Clinical Expertise: Expert knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and various therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT).
Systems Proficiency: Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
