Assignment Highlights:

• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient coverage required

• Call Type: Beeper with a 30-minute response time


• Patients Per Shift: Based on hospital census and follow-ups


• Call Volume: 0-10 patients, 100% callback rate

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive cardiology care, including both inpatient rounds and outpatient consultations


• Interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs and ECHOs


• Support clinic operations, starting with 2 hours per day and scaling up as needed


• Participate in call rotations and manage urgent cases

Required Qualifications:

• Licensure: Active North Carolina medical license or eligibility


• Certifications: ACLS required


• Experience: Non-invasive cardiology expertise preferred


• Board Status: Board-certified or board-eligible
