Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse passionate about providing exceptional maternal and neonatal care? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel RN specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our dynamic team at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – New Braunfels. What You’ll Bring:


  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in obstetric or perinatal nursing preferred

  • Current RN license in Texas or a compact state

  • BLS (American Heart Association) certification required

  • Current certifications: AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC EFM, NRP, STABLE, and ACLS are required

  • Ability to work night shifts from 7PM to 7AM, supporting a patient ratio of 1:2 in L&D and 1:6 postpartum



Nice to Have:


  • Perinatal RN Residency or recent experience in a perinatal setting

  • Additional certifications or training in neonatal or perioperative care



Preferred Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

  • At least one year of relevant clinical nursing experience in labor and delivery or neonatal intensive care



Additional Requirements:


  • Must attend a comprehensive New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days

  • Successfully complete organizational onboarding and competency validations

  • Willingness to travel and adapt to various clinical environments
