Required Skills
- Valid RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a PCU or Med Surg setting
- Strong knowledge of surgical oncology, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and plastics patient care
- Proficiency with IV therapy, blood transfusions, chemotherapies, and oncologic emergencies
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently under pressure
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Nice to Have Skills
- Oncology-specific certifications such as ONS Chemotherapy
- Experience with EPIC and computerized charting systems
- Familiarity with cytokine release syndrome management and complex infusion procedures
- Prior experience on night shifts or rotating schedules
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
- At least 2 years of recent hospital-based RN experience in a similar setting
- Prior experience working on a surgical oncology or mixed acuity unit
Other Requirements
- Must hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; ONS Chemotherapy certification is a plus
- Willingness to work a 12-hour night shift schedule (19:00 – 07:30) per rotation
- Ability to self-schedule requests and adapt to fluctuating staffing needs
- Travel and licensure reimbursements available where applicable
