Required Skills


  • Valid RN license in good standing

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a PCU or Med Surg setting

  • Strong knowledge of surgical oncology, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and plastics patient care

  • Proficiency with IV therapy, blood transfusions, chemotherapies, and oncologic emergencies

  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently under pressure

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications



Nice to Have Skills


  • Oncology-specific certifications such as ONS Chemotherapy

  • Experience with EPIC and computerized charting systems

  • Familiarity with cytokine release syndrome management and complex infusion procedures

  • Prior experience on night shifts or rotating schedules



Preferred Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred

  • At least 2 years of recent hospital-based RN experience in a similar setting

  • Prior experience working on a surgical oncology or mixed acuity unit



Other Requirements


  • Must hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; ONS Chemotherapy certification is a plus

  • Willingness to work a 12-hour night shift schedule (19:00 – 07:30) per rotation

  • Ability to self-schedule requests and adapt to fluctuating staffing needs

  • Travel and licensure reimbursements available where applicable
