Dentist locum tenens opportunity in southwest Virginia providing ongoing correctional facility coverage. This assignment offers a predictable weekday schedule, supportive dental staff, and the opportunity to provide full scope general dentistry care across multiple nearby facilities. Provider will split time between facilities within the region.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Full scope general dentistry


• Prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of oral diseases and injuries


• Restorative dentistry and tooth replacement procedures


• Radiography and imaging


• Patient education and oral health counseling


• Travel between facilities utilizing mobile dental services as needed

Support Staff

• Dental hygienists


• Dental assistants

Requirements

• Active Virginia license required


• DEA required


• Experience with general dentistry and restorative procedures


• Strong communication and patient education skills


• Comfortable working in correctional settings
