Our client in West Virginia is seeking a dedicated Neonatology Physician Assistant for an 84-day assignment starting Sep 1, 2026. This full-time role involves Monday through Sunday shifts, including day and call coverage. You will manage 8-10 patients daily, with night call responsibilities, performing advanced procedures like chest tube insertion, umbilical line placement, and respiratory management within a children's hospital neonatal intensive care unit.
Responsibilities and Duties - Full-time schedule, Monday through Sunday with day and call coverage.
- Manage 8–10 patients per day with night call responsibilities.
- Work within a children's hospital setting, specifically in the neonatal intensive care unit.
- Perform advanced procedures including chest tubes, umbilical lines, and lumbar punctures.
- Execute respiratory management and arterial line placement.
- Conduct paracentesis and thoracentesis.
- Interpret EKGs and perform central line placement.
Additional Information - Board certification in Neonatology is required.

- Shift hours: 7:30 AM - 5 PM
