Description We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract opportunity at a leading Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Utica, NY. Working in a collaborative team environment, you will be treating a mix of subacute and long-term care patients. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for: -Screening and evaluating patients with dysphasia, aphasia, feeding, and swallowing disorders -Treating speech, language, and communication disorders -Interpreting findings in order to establish a diagnosis to identify impairments, determine the predicted level of improvement, and time required to achieve it -Developing appropriate treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the resident and caregivers, implementing the treatment plan, and completing all related documentation required for those services -Attending and contributing to resident care, staff conferences, and other related meetings -Consulting with and making referrals to other disciplines in order to address the comprehensive needs of the resident -Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that the resident and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate environment --Supervising supervise CFYs * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
