Our client in Maine is seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 48-day assignment beginning Jul 20, 2026. This role involves 12-hour night shifts, from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM, providing in-house call coverage. Responsibilities include managing the emergency room, labor and delivery, and gynecological inpatients, alongside supervising family practice residents.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide 12-hour in-house call coverage.
- Work independently during night shifts, with a backup physician at home.
- Cover emergency room services.
- Manage labor and delivery cases, including routine deliveries and C-sections.
- Perform repairs for 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations.
- Oversee gynecological inpatients and required gyn surgeries.
- Supervise family practice residents.
