Overview

Interventional Radiology locum tenens opportunity in south Texas with a flexible ongoing schedule. Coverage includes both IR procedures and diagnostic reads during downtime in a busy multi-site practice environment.

Assignment Details

• Location: South Texas


• Setting: Hospital and imaging centers


• Start Date: ASAP; as soon as credentialed


• Contract Length: 3-6 months with potential to extend ongoing

Schedule

• 7-14 days per month or 1-2 weeks monthly


• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Clinical Details

• Patient Mix: ER, inpatient, and outpatient


• IR Volume: Approximately 30 cases per shift


• Diagnostic Reads: Approximately 90 reads onsite


• Procedures: Full spectrum interventional radiology procedures plus diagnostic coverage during downtime


• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiologist


• Active Texas license or IMLC accepted at supported facilities


• MQSA required for onsite diagnostic coverage


• DEA required


• Case logs required for credentialing


• COVID vaccine required for onsite coverage
