Job Title: Exciting Opportunity for Cardiac Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Join Our Premier Cardiac Anesthesia Team!


Overview:

Are you a highly skilled CRNA with a passion for cardiac anesthesia? We are seeking a dedicated, professional Cardiac Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our renowned medical center’s specialized cardiac anesthesia team. This critical role offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art, Level III trauma facility, providing top-tier cardiac care including CABGs, valve surgeries, aortic root procedures, and more. Required Skills:


  • Board Certified in Nurse Anesthesia (CRNA)

  • Valid state license (or ability to obtain via compact license)

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent cardiac anesthesia experience

  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (preferred)

  • Proficient in Epic EMR (highly preferred)

  • Strong clinical skills in cardiac procedures (CABGs, valves, ECMO awareness)

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

  • Ability to work consistent 4x10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday



Nice to Have Skills:


  • Experience with small ECMO programs

  • Additional certifications or specialized training in cardiac anesthesia

  • Prior experience in a Level III trauma or high-acuity hospital setting



Preferred Education and Experience:


  • US-based CRNA with at least 1-year experience in cardiac anesthesia

  • Willingness to obtain state licensure if necessary; compact license accepted

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment



Other Requirements:


  • Ability to commit to a 6-month contract (flexible to 3 months)

  • Availability for evening and weekend call shifts (minimal call during evenings and weekends)

  • Willingness to work in a cardiac surgical setting with a dedicated anesthesia team

  • Travel and licensure reimbursement, plus other applicable benefits
