Registered Nurse – Full-time Day Shift 7A – 7P  


Provides services in palliative care, symptom management, and supportive care for chronically and seriously ill
hospitalized patients and their families. Utilizes the nursing process based on
an expanded knowledge base of pathophysiology and pharmacology to assist with
comprehensive health care assessments, diagnosis, treatments, and management of
acute and chronic health conditions. Clinical decisions are formulated in
consultation and collaboration with attending physicians. The Palliative Care
nurse is additionally involved in education, consultation and research at
various levels.

Medical City Plano is a
full-service, Magnet-designated 600+ bed acute care hospital with more than

Qualifications

What you need to be successful:


  • ADN required / BSN preferred
  • Texas RN license or compact license is
    accepted
  • Palliative Care or Hospice Care preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS issued by the American
    Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • Must
    have at least one (1) year RN experience in an acute care hospital
