Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization. Responsibilities -Holds self and others (Colleagues, Physicians and Volunteers) accountable for exhibiting each of the Mount Carmel Service Excellence Behavior Standards. Creates a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of care throughout their experience at Mount Carmel following the principles of our interdisciplinary care delivery system. Identify, lead and embrace chance. -Under the direction of the nurse manager/director provides supervision of employees in their respective department/service area and partners with their supervisor to ensure 24 hour accountability. -Participates in interviewing, hiring, orienting, counseling and evaluating of all employees. Establishes work schedules and daily assignments. Participates in direct patient care activities as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications -Graduate from school of nursing; BSN required -CNOR certification -Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio -Minimum of two year's recent surgical RN experience -Leadership experience strongly preferred -Effective Communication Skills -Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care teamperks Relocation assistance Bridge to BSN Program Professional development opportunities Full benefits 401k
