Job Title: Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellow / Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Anesthesiologist with fellowship training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia to join our team. The role involves supporting complex cardiac surgeries and procedures in our newly relocated operating rooms at Mary Bridge Hospital. This position offers a fulfilling chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children undergoing critical cardiac procedures, with a supportive environment that promotes professional growth and excellence.


Required Skills:


  • Board-certified or eligible in Anesthesiology with fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology

  • Demonstrated expertise in pediatric anesthesia, especially cardiac cases

  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to manage complex cases and respond effectively to emergent situations



Nice to Have Skills:


  • Experience working in a hospital setting with pediatric cardiac catheterization and imaging labs

  • Familiarity with minimally invasive and advanced anesthesia techniques for cardiac procedures

  • Prior experience in a teaching or mentoring capacity



Preferred Education and Experience:


  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • Completion of anesthesiology residency and specialized fellowship training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia

  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric anesthesia, particularly in cardiac cases



Other Requirements:


  • Must hold valid medical license and certifications relevant to practicing in our location

  • Willingness to support a multi-disciplinary team with ongoing collaboration

  • Travel reimbursement and licensure/certification support provided as needed
